Dr. Henley has served on Ouachita's administrative staff since 1993 in the roles of university

Fun Facts
What is your favorite part of your job?
No question about it – my favorite part of work is teaching a section of OBU Connections
with freshmen each fall. I like to meet new students and my goal is always to help
them have a great start at Ouachita.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to take really long driving trips with my wife. We never have a specific plan,
but just decide every evening where to head the next day.
Do you have any pets?
Absolutely! Scout is a beagle mix who was an only dog for many years. Now in his old
age, he finally warmed up to Trixie, our schnauzer mix, after Celeste kept laying
treats on her back for him to pick off. Now they're best friends.
