Position Title: Digital Content Coordinator
Location: Arkadelphia, Ark.
Position summary
The Digital Content Coordinator serves as a team member in the Office of Communications & Marketing to meet university marketing goals and maintain brand standards by leading the university’s social media strategy, coordinating video and photography projects and supporting web and email content for marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Leads development of Ouachita’s social media content and strategy.
- Provides creative direction and project management for video.
- Provides support for photo and video shoots on and off campus.
- Writes and publishes blog content on Ouachita’s website.
- Supports and guides academic and administrative units’ social media use to align with the university’s massaging and standards.
- Assists in creating and evaluating marketing content to align with the university’s mission, vision, values and strategic priorities.
- Utilizes web statistics and analytics to enhance usability, reach marketing goals, increase user engagement and improve search engine optimization.
- Updates job knowledge by tracking technology advancements and trends, participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
- Supervises student workers to support the work and goals of the office.
Skills and abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with AP style.
- Experience with major social media platforms and knowledge of emerging trends.
- Familiarity with graphic design, photography and videography.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with a professional demeanor, and to solve problems independently.
- Experience with the following platforms a plus: Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Slate, Emma, Modern Campus or a similar CMS.

Position Title: Donor Relations & Development Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Development
Department: Office of Development
Position summary
The Donor Relations & Development Coordinator is a full-time position that provides critical administrative support to the university’s fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for maintaining smooth office operations, assisting with donor relations, and supporting special projects and events.
As an essential part of the university’s fundraising team, the Donor Relations & Development Coordinator ensures that daily operations run efficiently, supporting the office’s mission to foster relationships with alumni, donors, and friends. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Key responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for donors, alumni, and friends reaching out to the Office of Development.
- Process and distribute daily mail, including preparing and assembling the daily gift folder.
- Enter and maintain records and action items for the Vice President for Development.
- Monitor obituaries and send flowers or condolence messages as appropriate.
- Manage and coordinate the sending of personalized correspondence, including birthday, sympathy, and milestone recognition cards to alumni, donors, and friends of the university.
- Process daily cash receipts and maintain accurate records.
- Order office supplies, coordinate office machine maintenance, and handle IT and maintenance requests.
- Set up Zoom/Teams meetings for the team.
- Supervise work-study students, including hiring, training, scheduling, task assignment, and timecard approval.
- Facilitate the mailing of endowment reports to donors.
- Manage the setup of new scholarship and endowment files.
- Process credit card donations through the university’s giving platform.
- Manage direct mail fundraising efforts, including merging letters and envelopes, coordinating with the printer, and overseeing the folding, stuffing, and mailing process.
- Maintain records of officer time-off requests.
- Manage office invoices, credit card transactions, and expense reimbursements.
Data Management:
- Maintain and update alumni records, including deaths, marriages, job changes, and contact information updates.
- Research and process returned mail.
- Assist with reports for the Vice President.
Event Fundraising Support:
- Assist in coordinating and supporting special fundraising events, including Stepping Up for Ouachita, FORE Ouachita, Georgia Hickingbotham Hall events, and other development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage spreadsheets, reports, and data efficiently.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
- Experience in administrative support, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with donor relations or fundraising is a plus.

This role involves analyzing and enhancing business processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing web solutions using HTML/CSS and related web frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to teamwork and service.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom applications using PHP and SQL.
- Design, implement, and manage databases to support university operations.

Job Title: University Nurse
Division/Department: Health Services
Reports to: Dr. Wesley Kluck, University Physician
Position summary
Provide on-site nursing services to students, faculty, and staff as directed by University Physician.
Duties and tasks
- Administers basic health care and First Aid for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured students.
- Assists with referrals for medical treatment to appropriate doctor or medical provider.
- Coordinates documentation of student immunization records with admissions and registers office.
- Administers basic shots and injections as needed for students.
- Coordinates annual flu vaccinations for students, faculty, and staff
- Oversees day to day operations of the Health Services Office under the direction of the University Physician.
- Ensures proper charting and health records are maintained in accordance with federal and state standards including HIPAA requirements.
- Supervises staff and work study workers within Health Services.
Work requirements
- Registered Nurse with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing Required.
- Understand and support the mission of the university.
- Experience working as a nurse in a school or institutional setting preferred.
- Experience supervising staff preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Detail Oriented.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Educational requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health care, or related field preferred.
