We are partnering with Campus Ministries to bring you this hike during Christian Focus Week. We will meet at the Village Circle for a hike to DeSoto Bluff. We will hike around 4 miles and discuss what it means to be Fully Known in Creation.

What to Bring: Footwear and clothing appropriate for a hike and the weather, water bottle

Meeting Place/Time: Village Circle, 3:30 p.m.

Program End Time: Approximately 5 p.m.

Come climb. Come spectate. Come get some free stuff. Winners receive prizes in several divisions (Men’s, Women’s, Beginner, Advanced) and prizes given out at random as well. The week prior to the competition the CRAG will be closed and new routes put up. Visit the HSU Bouldering Wall to keep up your skills and strength.

Meeting Place/Time: The CRAG, 6 p.m.

Program End Time: 9 p.m.

We will drive 1 hour and 15 minutes to climb at Crystal Bluff Climbing Area in North Little Rock. This is an experience you won’t want to miss. Join us for a time of climbing, relaxing, hammocking and more. All gear and lunch is provided for FREE.

What to Bring: Water bottle, backpack, hammock, appropriate clothing and footwear for a hike and the weather, personal climbing gear (optional, gear provided if needed)

Meeting Place/Time: Parking lot outside the CRAG, 8 a.m.

Program End Time: Approximately 5 p.m.

Paddle the Lower DeGray Lake by the light of the moon. Due to the nature of this event, space is limited, so sign up today! When you register, choose one of the time slots that works for you.

What to Bring: Footwear can either be sandals if you don’t mind wet feet or rain boot type footwear. Bring a flashlight (headlamps work best). Do not take anything in the canoe with you that you don’t want to get wet.

Meeting Place/Time: Lower DeGray Lake, 6:30 p.m. or 8 p.m.
Head to Caddo Valley on Highway 7. Once you go under the interstate, take a left onto Lower Dam Pike. Follow this for 2 miles until it dead ends at a gravel road. Instead of turning left into the park, travel straight 100 yards on the gravel to the parking lot.

Program End Time: 8 p.m. or 9:30 p.m.

This is a great trip for beginners to backpacking or seasoned woodsman looking to hone their skills. We will hike along Buckeye Mountain and Caney Creek while carrying all our gear and camp two nights. We will see beautiful vistas, Katy Falls and camp next to Caney Creek. All food, transportation and gear provided. Due to the nature of this trip, space is limited.

Program End Time: Sunday, March 15, 4 p.m.

It’s time to get outside and play in God’s creation. Spend the afternoon with fellow students on a beautiful and relaxing hike. We will hike 2 miles at beautiful Lake Catherine State Park. Along our path we will stop at Falls Branch Falls for dinner. We will cook a backcountry style dinner on portable stoves. Food and gear will be provided.

Canoeing is a great way to see God’s creation. Join us on the upper Caddo River for some fun in the sun. Transportation, gear and lunch will be provided. Space is limited, so sign up today!

What to Bring: Water bottle, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sunblock, hat, sunglasses, footwear that is affixed to your foot (flip flops are not acceptable)

Meeting Place/Time: Lower SPEC Parking lot, 9 a.m.

Program End Time: Approximately 6 p.m.

Prepare for the arrival of Spring by brushing up on your lawn game skills. Enjoy some bocce, Spikeball, slacklining and more. If lawn games aren’t your thing, stop by and play with some dogs from the Humane Society of Clark County.
